Saints,
In accordance with the updated quarantine and isolation guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, The Living Gospel of Mesquite, Texas will update the guidance for returning to church.
Everyone who is experiencing symptoms should be tested for COVID-19. The best approach is to use an antigen test. Anyone with a confirmed positive test for COVID-19 should isolate themselves from others for at least 5 full days. Day 0 is the date an individual starts to experience symptoms or the date of known contact with someone with a confirmed case. If after 5 days, you’re experiencing improved symptoms, you should wear a mask when around others, at home and in public, for an additional 5 days. If after 5 days, you’re still experiencing severe symptoms, please retest. If your test result is still positive, you should continue to isolate until day 10. If your test result is negative, you can end isolation, but continue to wear a well-fitting mask around others at home and in public.
People who are confirmed to have COVID-19 or are showing symptoms need to isolate
regardless of their vaccination status. This includes:
-
People who have a positive viral test for COVID-19, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms.
-
People with symptoms of COVID-19, including people who are awaiting test results.
-
People with symptoms should isolate themselves, regardless of whether they have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 or not.
Thank you for all that you do to help keep our church safe.
The Lord Be Magnified,
Pastor R. Clark
